Julie
Sheila, remembering all the times we have spent together. You have known me since I was a girl really and welcomed to your home as your son's girlfriend. We have shared many times and life experiences on each other's life journeys. The lovely joyous and laughter times but also the comfort of taking to someone you know well when times are tough- when you need the comfort of those that care for you and understand you. Lots of small kindnesses which build up over the years into a big kindness mountain. You knitted me cardigans when I was a girl, kept your grandchildren well cardiganed out from babyhood and through school. We spent holidays and days together. You helped Ian and I when we were broke and you gave us groceries pretending your freezer was too full. We used to go the theatre together and before my marriage we spent a lot of time cooking sunday dinners together. The Sundays when I studied and read my books in your garden. We will so miss you at our Christmas table but I am sure you will know this as through the years despite changing times we have continued to have a close connection. Lots of love.
